AT&T National 2012: TV Schedule, Tee Times, Pairings For Friday

On Thursday, the Congressional Country Club provided the stiff test that the USGA had hoped it would just one year ago for the 2011 U.S. Open. Only seven players broke 70 in the first round of the 2012 AT&T National with the DC-area course dried out and running fast. Bo Van Pelt leads after firing a first-round 67 and posting 4-under. The Oklahoman seems to be consistently in contention and he'll look to build on his quick start with a second-round tee time at 7 a.m. ET. Van Pelt will be in the first group off the first tee bright and early Friday, playing with D.J. Trahan and Jeff Overton.

Golf Channel will broadcast the second round from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. ET on Friday afternoon. Dustin Johnson, Davis Love III, and Hunter Mahan tee off at 12:50 p.m. ET and will likely highlight the afternoon coverage. All three are under par at 1-under. Mahan nearly won here three years ago after firing a ridiculous final round 62. Vijay Singh, who is just one shot back of Van Pelt, will tee off No. 10 at 1:15 p.m.. The tenth at Congressional is a long par-3 over water and difficult and unorthodox way to start a round. A complete schedule of tee times below:
