Bubba Watson, whose media whirlwind in New York after his Masters win sent him home to rest up for a month, is taking his talents to the Left Coast this week.
Beginning with a cameo on Tuesday night’s episode of "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," Watson hoped to wrap up his Los Angeles visit by grabbing a trophy at the annual ESPY Awards on Wednesday night. Watson, who launched a Twitter campaign to get fans to vote for him against Luke Donald, Rory McIlroy, Webb Simpson and Bill Haas -- the other candidates for Male Golfer of the Year -- naturally tweeted about his adventures in La La Land.
Watson is also up for an ESPY for the "Best Moment' in sports in the last year for what ESPN described as his "incredible blind shot from deep in the woods" to set up his victory at Augusta.
Hollywood -- you’ve been warned.
