When the Greenbrier Classic 2012 kicks off on Thursday, the third-year tournament will have Tiger Woods in the field of golfers. This will be his first year at the Old White TPC in White Sulphur Springs, WV. The par-70 course has seen Stuart Appleby and Scott Stallings win the first two years of the tournament, but a victory by Woods here would certainly bring the event more awareness.
Woods will be paired with 2012 U.S. Open winner Webb Simpson and Steve Stricker. First-round coverage of the Greenbrier can be seen on the Golf Channel from 3:00-7:00 p.m. ET. Sirius XM Radio will begin its coverage at 1:00 p.m. ET and continue until 7:00 p.m.
