Wyndham Championship 2012: TV Schedule, Tee Times, Pairings For Thursday

The opening day of the 2012 Wyndham Championship from North Carolina's Sedgefield Country Club is set to begin bright and early on Thursday morning, as a stacked field of golfers will enter in search of coveted FedEx points heading into next week's PGA Championship.

Thursday's opening round will send three-man groups off both of Sedgefield's nine hole tracks starting at 7:00 a.m. EST. Defending champion Webb Simpson, who reigned victorious earlier this year at the 2012 U.S. Open, is scheduled to begin his tournament on the back nine at 7:40 am alongside former champs Carl Pettersson ('08) and Davis Love III ('06).

Hoping to get things rolling for next week's big major championship, Simpson is anxious to be back near his hometown of Raleigh with a chance to build plenty of momentum. "I was looking forward to this week ever since last year winning here," Simpson told the media on Wednesday. "All my memories here are just awesome."

Live action of the first round will be available on The Golf Channel from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m., while Sirius XM will also provide a concurrent radio broadcast from 12:00 to 6:00 p.m.. Here are Thursday's tee times:
