Tim Clark shot a 63 to put him in second place on Thursday, and through 13 holes, he isn't faring much worse in his second round. Clark leads the field at the Wyndham Championship with an 11-under, two clear of the pack.
Clark has five birdies to go with only one bogey in a field where everybody is scoring well in Greensboro, NC. Behind him is a group at 9-under comprised of Matt Every, Scott Stallings, and Harris English, who is 5-under through only nine holes on Friday. However, Clark's best competition for the top spot today will probably come from Carl Pettersson, who has had a strong season and currently sits at 8-under, despite not having teed off yet on the day. Tied with Pettersson for third are Tommy Gainey and Jimmy Walker.
Clark is ranked 109th in the FedEx Cup rankings; the only PGA Tour win to date for the South African was the 2010 Players Championship.
