Wyndham Championship 2012: Weather Delay Halts Play

Stay connected with SB Nation

Although most golfers have finished their second rounds in the 2012 Wyndham Championship, play for the remaining few has been suspended due to weather.

At 5:15 p.m. ET, storms moved into the area, causing play to be suspended. They are hoping to get play resumed so that all of the second rounds can finish on Friday.

Jimmy Walker still leads the field at 12-under following his impressive Friday round of shooting eight-under par with 62 strokes.

Right behind him at 11-under is Webb Simpson who birdied the 17th and 18th holes to finish his round at 63 strokes. He finished his round just as play was being suspended.

Sergio Garcia is a notable at 10-under, he also had a great Friday round shooting seven-under.
