The Barclays Leaderboard: Storylines Developing Early In Round 2

Early in the day at Bethpage State Park there has not been much movement in The Barclays Leaderboard. All top six golfers on the board right now have yet to start their rounds, but some other golfers are moving around in the middle as they try to catch up to leader Padraig Harrington and the rest. Harrington's Round 1 7-under score still stands as the best of the batch.

The best performance of the young day has belonged to American Bud Cauley, who has shot 2-under through four holes and bumped himself up 27 places in the standings already. Jim Furyk is off to a bad start by contrast -- through the same number of holes, he is 3-over and fallen 40 spots on the board.

Harrington will not begin his round until 12:22 p.m. and the "supergroup" of Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy and Zach Johnson will not tee off until 1:06 p.m., so it may be a while before the mid-table movement in the leaderboard starts to turn into movement around the top.

After shooting a 78 in the first round, good enough only to be stuck in a tie for 119th place on the leaderboard, Jason Bohn has withdrawn. Bohn made the FedEx Cup cut of 125 players with the lowest score of any of the competitors.
