Rickie Fowler was in esteemed company in Friday’s first round of the Deutsche Bank Championship, playing with two of the players from Tiger's generation of grand old men -- Phil Mickelson and Ernie Els. A few minutes before the 23-year-old one-time PGA Tour winner stepped onto the tee for his 12:46 p.m. start, he tweeted about his upcoming round with two guys who share eight major championships (four each) between them.
“Off to the tee with Phil and Ernie today,” @RickieFowlerPGA tweeted, adding two hashtags for emphasis: “twoandahalfmen #GOTIME”
