BMW Championship Leaderboard: Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy 1 Shot Back

The first round of the 2012 BMW Championship is underway on Thursday, with several of the top players already having teed off. Crooked Stick is a long hitter's course, but Zach Johnson, who's one of the shorter hitters on tour and is best known for his precision with his irons and putter, is off to a blistering start. He's 4-under on the day through seven holes and is in a three-way tie for first place.

Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy are the top pairing on the day, and they're both sitting just one shot back at 3-under. Woods and McIlroy are both through six holes, and share a 3-under mark with Jimmy Walker, Adam Scott, Jim Furyk and Graham DeLaet.

Walker is the furthest along, currently through nine holes. Ian Poulter and Bo Van Pelt share the first-place tie with Johnson. Poulter is also through nine holes while Van Pelt is through seven along with Johnson. The top ten is rounded out by Ben Curtis and six others who are all currently tied for tenth place.
