Rory McIlroy will no doubt be the star of Nike's "major announcement," scheduled for January 14.
It’s not official, but with Nike planning a major announcement for January 14, it’s only a matter of days before Tiger Woods’ equipment supplier announces the arrival of Rory McIlroy to the team. In the meantime, photographers captured images of the world No. 1 lounging around in a pair of shorts sporting the tell-tale swoosh.
McIlroy is in Australia with girlfriend Caroline Wozniacki, who bombed out of the Brisbane International in the first round and is preparing for the Australian Open later this month.
