Presidents Cup 2013: Pairings, match schedule for Sunday at Muirfield Village

Andy Lyons

The Presidents Cup is playing catch-up again on Sunday, trying to finish up Saturday's Foursomes and then complete the originally scheduled 12 singles matches.

For the second straight day, the Presidents Cup could not finish up its scheduled matches before darkness fell in the Columbus area. Only one of the five Four-ball matches out on the course finished, and that got in just under the wire thanks to a hole-out eagle from the fairway by Zach Johnson.

The PGA Tour will resume the fourth session tomorrow morning at 7:35 a.m. ET. Given that the matches are the Foursomes format, play should move quickly as there are only two balls per group in the alternate shot format. The last match is just through nine holes, as Tiger Woods and Matt Kuchar play the 10th hole 2-down to Brendon de Jonge and Ernie Els.

Here's where those matches resuming at 7:35 stand:

While these last four matches are wrapping up, the captains for both the Internatioanl and U.S. teams will set the order and matches for the 12 Sunday singles. This selection process and announcement will be done at 8 a.m. ET. Tee times for those 12 singles are set to begin approximately at 9 a.m., with each match going out every 10 to 12 minutes. Of course, both teams will be at the mercy of the weather again on Sunday.
