2013 PGA Tour Money List: Kevin Streelman approaches Top 10 with payday at Tampa

Sam Greenwood

Kevin Streelman took home $990,000 for winning the Tampa Bay Championship on Sunday. Was it enough to push him into the Top 10 on the 2013 PGA Tour Money List?

There was no shakeup in the Top 10 of the PGA Tour Money List this week, but Kevin Streelman came close after earning a $990,000 paycheck for winning the 2013 Tampa Bay Championship on Sunday. Streelman jumped from No. 74 to No. 11 on the list, and currently sits just over $6,000 behind No. 10 Michael Thompson.

Streelman has a ways to go before catching leader Brandt Snedeker, who has earned nearly $3 million in prize money this season. Tiger Woods is in second place by less than $190,000, and Matt Kuchar is in third place approximately $700,000 behind Snedeker. Steve Stricker and Phil Mickelson round out the Top 5.

The Arnold Palmer Invitational in Orlando next week has potential to shake up the standings. A share of a $6.2 million purse will be up for grabs, including$1.08 million for the winner. Woods and Snedeker will be in play, along with Mickelson, Streelman, Hunter Mahan and Russell Henley.

Here's what the top of the money list looks like as of March 18:
