Masters 2013 leaderboard: Tiger Woods even-par through 5

Tiger Woods is yet to record a birdie, but some excellent play around the green has allowed him to stay at even-par through five holes.

It's been slow-going for Tiger Woods at the 2013 Masters as his group moves slowly through the front nine. While a few players were able to get into the red early, Woods has yet to record a birdie, but sits at even-par through five holes.

Woods pulled out his 3-wood on No. 1 and drilled a perfect tee shot. He had a birdie opportunity right off the bat, but was unable to capitalize as he missed a 15-foot birdie putt and was forced to settle for a par. The par-5 second hole is traditionally one of the easier holes on the course, but Woods once again was forced to settle for a par.

Things got a little dicey at No. 3 as Woods sailed his approach over the green and was forced to complete a difficult up-and-down to save par. Woods' wedges have been far from sharp early on, as he had some issues at both No. 2 and No. 3.

He continued his string of pars at the 240-yard par-3 fourth. After a tricky up-and-down at the third, Woods had an easier route to par on the fourth. After hitting his tee shot over the green, Woods set up a short par putt with an excellent lag putt. It was more of the same for Woods at No. 5 as he finished with his fifth-straight par.

While he's been able to stay even through the first five holes, spectators should be on high alert. Woods has sprayed the ball a bit early on and at least one beverage has been among the causalities.

Here is a closer look at the current leaderboard as well as a few notable names.

-3 Jim Furyk 11
