2013 Masters tee times and pairings: Tiger Woods, Fred Couples highlight afternoon groups

A 53-year-old Fred Couples will play in the final group at Augusta National.

The original 93-man field has been cut down at Augusta National, and the tee times are now set for Saturday's third round of the Masters.

Bubba Watson will lead things off at 9:25 a.m. ET, with last year's Masters champ playing by his lonesome. As Jason Sobel suggested, this would be a great opportunity for Bubba to use the hovercraft, his "BW1" that's garnered so much attention recently. It is, after all, in the area and parked down the road, as our Emily Kay observed earlier this week.

Tianlang Guan, the 14-year old amateur who was assessed a controversial one-stroke penalty on Friday, will play in the third group of the day at 9:55 a.m. ET. Guan hovered around the cut line throughout the day, and it looked like the penalty might cost him a chance to play on the weekend. But Jason Day held at 6-under, pushing Guan through via the 10-shot rule. He's the youngest player to ever play on the weekend, and the only amateur this year. He'll play with Thorbjorn Olesen.

Two bogeys in the last four holes for Tiger Woods knocked him from a share of the lead, and moved his tee time up and hour on Saturday. He will play with Spaniard Gonzalo Fernandez-Castano at 1:45 p.m. ET. These two have a little bit of a history, as they faced off in the first round of last year's WGC-Match Play event. The Spaniard tweaked Woods a little, saying he was not at his best and that he would beat Tiger if he played his best. He called him beatable, and this qualified as bulletin board material in golf. It wasn't the blowout that Woods handed Stephen Ames, who made similar claims before a match in that event, but Tiger did dispatch Fernandez-Castano.

One hour later, Day will tee off with Fred Couples, the Senior Tour staple who's remarkably playing in the final group at Augusta National. The course has treated Couples well over the years, and he's always been comfortable there. It's not surprising to see him in the mix, but it's still a marvel that he's in the final group at the midpoint. He and Day will go off at 2:45 p.m. ET. Here's the complete tee sheet for Saturday:
