2013 Masters: Adam Scott celebrates playoff win over Angel Cabrera

Becoming the first Aussie to win the Masters, Adam Scott celebrates with caddie Steve Williams on the 10th green.

Adam Scott is the first Australian to win the Masters, breaking a string of near Aussie victories to win it on the second playoff hole over Angel Cabrera. The win has been a long time coming for Scott, who's been so close at both Augusta and the Open Championship, where he collapsed down the stretch last year to hand it to Ernie Els.

But this time, Scott clinched the win with a series of clutch putts -- anchored, of course -- to both send it to a playoff and win his first major. The celebration was instant as soon as he rolled in the putt that sealed it on the 10th green:

The man coming in from the right of the screen is none other than caddie Steve Williams, who was on the bag for three of Tiger Woods' wins at Augusta. The playoff loser, Angel Cabrera, simply shrugged his shoulders and congratulated the Aussie, who he's played with in the Presidents Cup:

Scott had several putts throughout the day that could have been the difference, and the weight of an Australian victory, as well as his past record at the majors was gone on the 10th green.

And that's when he proceeded to Butler Cabin to receive a new jacket.
