The 2013 Traveler's Championship promises to be exciting, despite the narrow field due to the tournament being played immediately after the season's second major. Justin Rose will be in action, though, in addition to Marc Leishman, the defending champion at TPC River Highlands.
Rose just won the U.S. Open, notching the first major title of his career in his last appearance, but will still play in the Travelers Championship due to his prior commitment.
Round 1 gets underway on Thursday, and you can catch all the coverage you need on the Golf Channel. That said, if you can't watch on your TV, there's a few different options for you online. All of it comes straight from the PGA Tour, and the highlight is simulcast coverage of the Golf Channel's live coverage on the Tour's website.
If you have one of the providers listed on the PGA Tour site, you can tune in at 3 p.m. ET to watch the simulcast. If that doesn't sound promising to you, there will be coverage from holes No. 15 and No. 16 all day on Thursday and Friday, beginning at 8 a.m. and running through 6 p.m.
On Saturday and Sunday, there will be Featured Group coverage on the website, with a specific featured group in the morning and a different one in the evening on both days, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. In addition, Saturday and Sunday will also feature CBS Sports simulcasts on the website, beginning at 3 p.m. and running through 6 p.m. each day.
