The top spot on the earnings list remains unchanged. Tiger Woods, to the surprise of no one, remains in first place. Even considering another winless year at the majors, Woods has had a fine season that includes five PGA Tour victories, the latest of those coming at the Bridgestone Invitational.
Woods has more victories than anyone else this season, and he has a sizeable lead on the money list as a result. Matt Kuchar, who leapfrogged Phil Mickelson to move up to No. 2, is more than $2.6 million behind in earnings.
Jason Dufner won the PGA Championship on Sunday, and he now sits at No. 13. Dufner was one of the big movers on the list as a result of his first major championship title; he was 61st last week, but his victory earned him well over $1 million to vault him way up the list. Runner-up Jim Furyk also moved from outside the top 50 into the top 20 in earnings.
Within the top 10, the changes were less dramatic -- the same 10 golfers as last week occupy those spots, they were just shuffled a bit. Henrik Stenson made the biggest move, going from 10th to fifth.
