The Barclays leaderboard 2013: Tiger Woods 3 shots back from leaders

The Star-Ledger-USA TODAY Sports

Tiger Woods is three shots back from Camilo Villegas and Kevin Stadler, who lead the field at the The Barclays at 7-under on Thursday.

Tiger Woods is holding steady at 4-under through 15 holes at The Barclays in Jersey City, N.J. He has hit birdie just once in his last seven holes, putting himself three shots behind current leaders Camilo Villegas and Kevin Stadler.

Villegas has birdied five of his last seven holes to climb the leaderboard alongside Stadler, who briefly held the outright lead at 5-under after making birdie on No. 8. Henrik Stenson is in sole possession of third place at 6-under on the day.

Ryan Palmer, Jason Day, Carl Pettersson and Charley Hoffman are currently tied for fourth place at 5-under, one shot ahead of Woods and the four other golfers. Woods made three straight birdies earlier in the day, but a nearly four-hour rain delay promptly ended his momentum.
