Miguel Angel Jimenez takes driver out of Oak Hill rough, hits the worst punch shot ever

This was not a good idea.

That would appear to be the world's most interesting golfer, Miguel Angel Jimenez, one shot out of the lead, taking a ... driver (?) to try and punch out of the highest portion of Oak Hill's graduated rough. There's no way this can end well, right?

Nope. That's the kind of ridiculous play, and result, you would see some unknowing weekend hacker try to make -- except they wouldn't be doing it out of major championship three-inch rough. It's also as angry and flustered as you will see the Mechanic. A punch shot that goes 15 yards and stays in the tall stuff usually results in a big number, and Jimenez finished the hole with his second double bogey of the day.
