The battle for FedExCup Playoff positioning continues on Sunday with the third round of the Deutsche Bank Championship. A 7-under 64 vaulted Sergio Garcia into the lead at 13-under. He'll likely need another good round on Sunday if he's going to stay in the lead as low scores were prevalent during the first two rounds.
Television coverage will be extended for the third round with the Golf Channel and NBC combining to broadcast five hours of live coverage. Coverage will begin at 1 p.m. ET on Golf Channel and coverage will remain there until 2:30 p.m. The broadcast will immediately shift over to NBC where it will continue until 6 p.m. ET.
The lead groups will begin teeing off around 1 p.m., meaning viewers will be able to watch their entire rounds live. Phil Mickelson will tee off at 12:25 p.m., so the majority of his round will also fall during the coverage window. Tiger Woods is scheduled to hit the course with Hunter Mahan at 11:45 a.m. and he should be only a few holes into his round when the broadcast goes live.
In addition to the television coverage, a simulcast of the broadcast will also be available on Golf Live Extra beginning at 12:30 p.m. There will also be six hours of radio coverage on PGA Tour Radio.
