Official World Golf Rankings 2013: Tiger Woods holds comfortable lead

Matt Marton-USA TODAY Sports

The top eight golfers remained unchanged in the rankings after the BMW Championship, although Steve Stricker was able to earn a ninth-place ranking.

The 2013 BMW Championship did very little to alter the order in the Official World Golf Rankings, as the top eight golfers remained the same from the week prior. The only change in the top 10 came at the bottom of the list, as Steve Stricker surpassed Jason Dufner for ninth in the rankings.

Dufner struggled at the BMW Championship, finishing five strokes over par and in a tie for 54th, while Stricker earned a fourth place finish with an 11-under performance.

At the top of the leaderboard, Woods has kept a firm hold on the No. 1 ranking that he earned with a win in the Arnold Palmer Invitational in May. Victories in The Players Championship and the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational only solidified his status as the world's top golfer and allowed for a healthy cushion that 40th and 65th place finishes have not been able to eliminate.

The top 10 of the World Golf Rankings is included below. The full rankings can be found on the Official World Golf Rankings website and can also be downloaded as a PDF:

9 Steve Stricker 6.21
