The second round of the 2013 TOUR Championship tees off around Noon on Friday at East Lake in Atlanta. It's the last event of the 2013 season, and with just 30 players left in the FedExCup playoffs, the round moves quickly. There will be only 15 twosomes out of the course, so there's not your typical back-up. The entire field got into the clubhouse in under four hours on Thursday. That small field also allows the Tour some flexibility to hold tee times until late in morning, and for the second straight day, the first group won't go out until 11:40 a.m. ET.
Golf Channel will once again have the TV coverage for the entire second round, and thanks to the late tee time schedule, they'll have live coverage of a majority of the entire field's round. That includes Tiger Woods, who dramatically tumbled down to the bottom of the leaderboard with an opening round 3-over 73. Woods was No. 1 in the FedExCup standings which landed him the last tee time on Thursday. But now that he's in second to last, he'll be out with Jason Dufner in that first 11:40 a.m. twosome.
The first group on Thursday played their round in about three and a half hours, so if Tiger is truly flying around with Dufner, he could be on the back nine when Golf Channel comes on the air at 1 p.m. ET. They'll carry coverage to the conclusion of the second round, which should come right around 6 p.m. If you're unable to get watch on TV, Golf Channel will provide their customary simulcast stream of the coverage online through their LiveExtra service.
