Henrik Stenson is 18 holes from a wire-to-wire victory at the TOUR Championship after shooting a steady 69 Saturday, keeping a comfortable lead over the field.
Stenson is now at 11-under, four strokes ahead of second-place Dustin Johnson. Johnson shot a three-under 67 to leapfrog Jordan Spieth on the leaderboard. Johnson, at seven-under, is two ahead of Steve Stricker, who shot a 68. Spieth, Zach Johson, Billy Horschel and Justin Rose are all tied for fourth place at four-under.
Tiger Woods had his best round of the tournament Saturday morning, shooting a one-under 69, but he's tied for 26th out of 30 players at +3 in the tournament. He doesn't have much of a prayer of sniffing the Top 10 without a monstrous fourth round.
Stenson, however, is playing stupendous golf. After an opening round 64 and a 66 on Friday, Stenson came out of the gate blazing again, shooting four birdies on the front nine before slipping after the turn. He bogeyed four holes, including three of the last five, while birdieing the par five 15th.
