2013 PGA Tour Money List: Tiger Woods, Henrik Stenson add to their riches

Kevin Liles-USA TODAY Sports

Eighteen players earned more than $3 million on the 2013 Tour.

Tiger Woods, Henrik Stenson and Matt Kuchar headlined the PGA Tour earnings list for 2013.

Woods led the way with $8,553,439 of on-course winnings. The world's No. 1 player won five of the 16 events he played in this season, which was at least three more than any other player on the Tour. Add in all of Woods' endorsement deals and sponsorships, and there's no doubt he did pretty well for his bank account the past nine months.

Stenson, who was awarded a bonus of $10 million last weekend for winning the FedEx Cup, was second in event winnings at $6,388,230. Stenson won two events in 2013, including the Tour Championship. He was also the runner-up at the British Open in July.

Third on the list was Matt Kuchar and his $5,616,808 of winnings. He won two events this season and played in 23. Phil Mickelson was fourth on the list with $5,495,793, while Brandt Snedeker rounded out the top five at $5,318,087.

Last year's money list leader, Rory McIlroy, took home just over $1.8 million in 2013 after bringing in upwards of $8 million last season.
