The Waste Management Phoenix Open may be the most unique spectator event in golf. More than 100,000 fans are expected to attend the third round on Saturday. The entire spectacle makes for great television. Oh, and some of the best in the world will be playing golf. With the tournament heading to the weekend, there will be additional coverage and viewers will have options for watching on television or online.
Before the third round can begin, four players still need to finish their second rounds after play was suspended due to darkness on Friday. Those four players will hit the course early in the morning and the third round will begin not long after. Bubba Watson will once again begin the day in a share of the lead after he shot a 5-under 66 on Friday. Watson is tied with Matt Jones at 12-under and the two will play in the final pairing on Sunday.
There will be more than four hours of live television coverage on Saturday, beginning at 1 p.m. ET on Golf Channel.
