2014 Masters live stream: How to watch Thursday's round online

Rob Carr

In addition to the standard television coverage, viewers will be able to watch parts of the first round of the Masters thanks to four online streams.

By the time first round television coverage begins at the Masters on Thursday, every player in the field will have either completed his round or be in the process of doing so. For golf fans not in attendance at Augusta, that means it will be a challenge to watch any of the early round action live. Viewers will be able to catch glimpses of the morning golf, thanks to a few live streams.

Masters.com and CBSSports.com will provide online coverage each day and the first round offerings include four live streams. There will be a dedicated stream of Amen Corner and one featuring holes Nos. 15 and 16, a par-5 and par-3 where there's typically just as much drama as Amen Corner. Those streams will allow viewers to watch five live holes, beginning at 10:45 a.m. ET. The stream of holes Nos. 15 and 16 is scheduled to begin at 11:45 a.m..

Those streams will be the only option for watching all of the field make its way around the course. There will also be a pair of featured group streams, following select groups for the entire round. The first featured group stream will follow the 9:35 a.m. ET tee time and feature the pairing of Graeme McDowell, Rickie Fowler and Jimmy Walker. When that group is done, the stream will move on to coverage of Matt Kuchar, Louis Oosthuizen and Thongchai Jaidee.

The second featured group stream will start with coverage of Zach Johnson, K.J. Choi and Steve Stricker. The stream is scheduled to begin at 9:57 a.m. Here is a look at the featured groups schedule for the first round.
