Miguel Angel Jimenez holes out for eagle, dances in the fairway

Paul Thomas

The most interesting golfer in the world adds to his library at the start of what will hopefully another glorious week at a major championship.

Miguel Angel Jimenez is golf's greatest treasure, and thankfully, he's playing some of the best golf of his life over the last 12 months so his profile only keeps rising. After finishing solo 4th at the Masters, he'll be back at the U.S. Open this week competing at 50-years old. But first, Jimenez needed to put in a little work at the Lyoness Open in Austria, and a hole-out eagle might have created the best Mechanic gif yet.

We last saw Miguel dancing at the Ping headquarters, teaching those employees how to stretch in the most enjoyable way possible.

The Miguel library has grown so much over the past year, from the incomparable stretch routine, ever-present cigar and glass of rioja, whistling at his golf ball as if it were his pup, and the recent cover story in Golf World and profile in Golf Digest.

Those are just some of the highlights during a stretch in which Jimenez has become the most enjoyable golfer on the planet (here's a rundown of his recent greatest photos, quotes, and videos). He's going to make the Euro Ryder Cup team, and it will be hard not root for him every time he's out there.

The man has been at the peak or his powers for some time now, but dancing during a competitive round is now our top Miguel moment of the year.
