John Deere Classic 2014: Tee times, TV schedule and online streaming for Saturday's 3rd round

Gregory Shamus

The John Deere Classic heads into the weekend with five players in double-figure red numbers. How low will scores dip on Saturday?

If recent history is going to be repeated this year, there are two absolutes heading into the 2014 John Deere Classic: scores will be low and both Zach Johnson and Steve Stricker will be in contention, Thus far, everything is going as expected. Five players are already into double-figure red numbers, including Johnson, who's tied for the lead at 12-under. And Stricker? He is only three shots off the lead heading into moving day.

Both players -- and the rest of the field -- took advantage of optimal scoring conditions during the tournament's first two rounds. With plenty of birdies up for grabs, it took rounds in the mid-to-low 60s to keep pace. Johnson followed up a round of 63 on Thursday with a 67 on Friday. With his 67, he has now carded 22 straight rounds in the 60s at the John Deere Classic. Johnson will tee off in the final pairing on Sunday, joined by co-leader William McGirt and Steven Bowditch, who is one off the lead at 11-under. The three tee off at 12:50 p.m. ET. Stricker tees off in the second-to-last pairing, joined by Johnson Wagner and Brian Harman. That puts four of the last five John Deere Classic winners in the final two pairings. Jordan Spieth, who won the event last year, will begin the final round at 7-under. He fired a 64 on Friday to move into contention and tees off at 12 p.m.

With the tournament headed to the weekend, Golf Channel and CBS will combine to provide more than four hours of live coverage. The broadcast begins on Golf Channel at 1 p.m. and continues until 2:30 p.m. Following a 30-minute break, CBS picks up coverage at 3 p.m. The final groups will already be on the course by the time coverage begins, but with the combination broadcast, viewers should be able to see the majority of key shots live as they happen.

Viewers can also watch the coverage online via a pair of online streams. The Golf Channel broadcast will be available via a simulcast from NBC Sports LiveExtra. CBS' coverage can be streamed online at PGATour.com. There will also be radio coverage from PGA Tour Radio on Sirius-XM.
