When President Obama plays golf, he's undoubtedly surrounded by security, caddies, and maybe even forecaddies. So it's hard to believe he ever loses a golf ball that doesn't land at the bottom of a water hazard. But apparently he donated one to Congressional Country Club over the weekend, and a citizen playing the course the next day found it in the woods off the first hole.
@BarackObama Mr. President, I found your golf ball yesterday. Would you like it back? pic.twitter.com/s1QKiCMHZ0

A custom Titleist Pro V1 is probably the kind of ball he'd play. I'm still dubious. There just aren't too many dense wooded areas around the first at Congressional. And again, how do you lose his ball if you're the caddie or one of the several people circling around him?
While Congressional is the home of Tiger Woods' annual PGA Tour event and the only real major championship course in the DC area, this was just the first time that Obama, who's not shy about getting out on the weekend, has ventured out to the massive Bethesda club. He was reportedly joined by PTI hosts Tony Kornheiser and Michael Wilbon, who he's played with on several occasions while in office. He played with Wilbon just two weeks ago and Kornheiser last month.
