Greenbrier Classic 2014: Tee times, TV schedule, and streaming for Sunday's round

Todd Warshaw

The stage is set at The Old White TPC for an eventful final round. Who will come away with the victory in West Virginia?

Sometimes sports tie in perfectly with life. That could be the case in the Greenbrier Classic on Sunday where former serviceman Billy Hurley III will open the final round with the lead. Hurley attended college at Navy and fulfilled a postgraduate commission for five years which included a tour of duty in the Persian Gulf. Notching his first win on the Fourth of July weekend would make for a great story, if it happens.

In order to do that, Hurley will need to hold off a long list of competitors. He'll open the round with a two-stroke lead at 12-under, but nine other players are 8-under or better. That includes Angel Cabrera who is 10-under and will tee off in the final pairing with Hurley. Michael Thompson, Steve Stricker and Camilo Villegas are among the players at 8-under. Hurley and Cabrera will be the final duo off the first tee when they tee off at 2:05 p.m. ET. Thompson will join Kevin Chappell, who is 9-under, in the second-to-last group.

In addition to playing for the Greenbrier Classic title, some of the field will also be competing for a spot in the British Open. Four bids to the British Open are on the line for players who finish in the top 12 and arealy already qualified. With most of the field not qualified for the third major of the year, position will be something to watch during the final round. Of the 18 players currently tied for 12th or better, only four are qualified for the British Open. Hurley, Cabrera and Stricker are the only two players qualified of the 10 who will start at 8-under or better.

Golf Channel and CBS will combine on television coverage with Golf Channel beginning its broadcast at 1 p.m. Coverage will continue on Golf Channel until 2:30 p.m. before a 30-minute blackout. CBS will pick up coverage at 3 p.m. and broadcast the rest of the round. With the leaders teeing off around 2 p.m., the majority of key shots will be shown live. There will also be live online simulcast streams from NBC LiveExtra and PGATour.com.
