It's been a good week for position players pitching, alright. Earlier in the week, Jamey Carroll threw a clean inning. And with the Tigers leading 10-2 and the Indians having a tired bullpen, the Tribe turned to outfielder and multi-year building block Ryan Raburn for an inning.
Nary a runner reached. He sat at 84 with good movement, but he could touch 89, as he did with this strikeout to Matt Tuiasosopo:
Also of note: Matt Tuiasosopo can't hit Ryan Raburn. But I'm sure his teammates won't make fun of him because he feels really bad, guys.

Move over, Twins. The Indians are the new leader in fun. Their last position player to pitch was Andy Marte in 2010. And when it comes to career WAR, valued commenter GBSimons notes:
For his career, Marte had more value as a pitcher in one inning than he did in 924 PA as a hitter.
