A long-time IndyCar supporter and team owner, David Letterman annually invites the winner of the Indianapolis 500 and IndyCar Series champion on his show each year.
That was again the case on Tuesday night when Letterman played host to Scott Dixon two weeks after the Aussie captured his third IZOD IndyCar Series championship at Auto Club Speedway.
The duo discussed a variety of general interest racing topics including safety innovations to open-wheel racing, the ability to process high velocity speeds and the fear that comes with failing brakes at the entrance to a corner.
Even the Astor Cup IndyCar championship trophy made an appearance at the end of the segment. The complete Scott Dixon appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman can be viewed at the top of this post.
