Barcelona vs. Real Madrid, 2013 El Clasico: Six players who could miss the final

Update: Real Madrid 3-1 Barcelona, full time.

There are six players, three on each team, that could miss out on the Copa del Rey Final if their team advances today and they pick-up a yellow card.

For Real Madrid, Xabi Alonso, Ricardo Carvalho and Cristiano Ronaldo are all one yellow card away from a suspension. Carvalho is safe as he is neither in the starting lineup or on the bench. Ronaldo and Alonso are both starting and will have to be careful if they want to play in the cup final, should Madrid win.

Meanwhile for Barcelona two starters, Dani Alves and Cesc Fábregas are both one yellow card away from a suspension. Javier Mascherano who will begin the game on the bench is also in the same spot.

Pay attention to those players today to see if they adjust their play at all to try and avoid picking up a card. Easier said than done of course, especially in the pressure cooker-like environment of the El Clasico.
