The 2012 U.S. Olympic swimming trials continue Wednesday in Omaha, Neb. The nation's top swimmers are looking to secure their spots on the U.S. team to take part in the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.
The finals of the men's 200-meter freestyle will take place Wednesday evening and should be the highlight of the night, as the event will feature Michael Phelps going head-to-head against rival Ryan Lochte. It figures to be a fantastic race after Lochte edged his rival by just 0.02 seconds in Tuesday night's semi-finals.
The fastest preliminary heats for Wednesday's trials will be shown on tape delay from 7 until 8 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Network. After that, finals and semifinals for the day's trials will be televised nationally on NBC from 8 until 9 p.m. ET.
Please note that the finals will only air live in the Eastern time zone at 8 p.m. ET and in the Central time zone at 7 p.m. The trials will be tape-delayed and air locally at 8 p.m. in the Mountain and Pacific time zones.
