Caitlin Leverenz is showing off her abilities as a well-rounded swimmer this week.
On Thursday, the 21-year-old UC - Berkley swimmer won the 200m individual medley with a time of 2:10.22.
Ariana Kukors finished second and will also advance to the Olympics in this event.
This is the second event that Leverenz has qualified to participate in for the 2012 Olympics. On Tuesday during the U.S. Olympic Trials, she finished second behind Elizabeth Beisel in the 400-meter individual medley with a time of 4:34.48, meaning she will chase gold in at least two events in London next month.
Clearly, versatility is her strong suit.
This will be Leverenz's first Olympic appearance.
In 2008, she just missed out on making the team after finishing third in the 200m breaststroke.
