It's cold at the venue for beach volleyball at the Olympics, prompting players to layer up a little bit and leave the traditional skimpy attire behind. This isn't about the "take those shirts off" comments that have populated Twitter during the beach volleyball matchups on Saturday, though. No, those comments are ridiculous and sexist and just not nice.
This is, however, about Australia's curious uniform choice.
Bikini tops over the shirts. Interesting choice. Not sure why that was the route to go, but it made me do a double-take upon first sight.
Also notice the Mutumbo finger wag. Pretty excellent work there.
