Team USA continues their quest for gold against Tunisia on Tuesday, starting at 5:15 p.m. ET.
In its second game of the London 2012 Olympics, the United States men's basketball team is heavy favored over Tunisia, the lowest-ranked team that it will face in group play, and likely the lowest ranked team it will face in the entire tournament. Tunisia scored just 56 points in a 60-56 loss to Nigeria in its first game, which might have killed off any chance it had of pulling off an upset top-four finish in Group A.
The United States is coming off of a 98-71 win over France, in which Kevin Durant led the team with 22 points. Coach Mike Krzyzewski will be hoping his team can pull away early, allowing him to rest some of his stars and give playing time to his inexperienced players.
United States vs. Tunisia is the last basketball game of the day and is scheduled to tip off at 5:15 p.m. ET, 10:15 local time. The game will be broadcast live on NBC Sports Network, and will also be streamed live at NBCOlympics.com.
