The FIBA World Olympic Qualifying Tournament wraps up Sunday, with a third-place consolation game between Nigeria and the Dominican Republic.
The winner will secure the 12th and final spot in the 2012 Olympics.
The two countries are meeting after Nigeria lost to Russia and the Dominican Republic lost to Lithuania in semifinal action Saturday night.
The major story line to be following here is that of John Calipari and his Dominican Republic team. A country that has never participated in basketball in the summer games, the Kentucky Wildcats head coach has positioned this national team for their first ever Olympic appearance, led by NBA players Al Horford and Francisco Garcia.
The final Olympic qualifying game from Caracas, Venezuela begins at 8 p.m. ET, and you can stream the game action by visiting FIBA.com.
To date, 11 teams have qualified for the Olympics: Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Britain, China, France, Lithuania, Russia Spain, Tunisia and the United States.
