Track & Field: Event Schedule, TV Coverage For Wednesday

Four track & field medals are up for grabs on Wednesday. Can the United States add a few of those to its medal count?

The sixth day of track and field events at the 2012 London Olympics gets underway on Wednesday with four gold medals up for grabs. But before that, there will be a slew of qualifiers for other events, including the men's decathlon, men's pole vault, women's hammer throw and men's javelin throw.

The United States has multiple opportunities to medal in the four finals. In the women's long jump, Brittney Reese and Janay DeLoach will look for a medal. T'Erea Brown, Lashinda Demus and Georganne Moline will compete in the women's 400-meter hurdles. Sanya Richards-Ross, Allyson Felix and Carmelita Jeter go for gold in the 200-meter.

The men's 110-meter hurdles final also takes place, but first Jason Richardson, Aries Merritt and Jeff Porter will need to go through the semifinals earlier in the day.

Qualifying Men's Pole Vault, 5000m; Women's 800m -- 10:30 a.m., 1:15 p.m. -- NBC
Men's Decathlon 400m Race -- 4:30 p.m. -- NBC
Gold Medal Finals -- Women's 200m, 400m hurdles, long jump; Men's 110m hurdles -- 8:00 p.m. -- NBC
