Matt Carpenter almost caught with his pants down

Rob Carr

Maybe FOX should try a different camera angle for their manager interview segments.

Baseball games can be long. There are no intermissions between quarters and/or halves to take care of business, so most MLB ballparks have bathrooms right behind the dugouts.

St. Louis Cardinals second baseman Matt Carpenter apparently had to use one of those bathrooms between innings, and almost got caught with his drawers down during FOX's interview with Cards manager Mike Matheny at the start of the bottom of the third inning.

Whatever Carpenter did in there, it worked; he singled with one out in the inning, advanced to second on an error and scored the first run of Game 4 on Carlos Beltran's RBI single.
