Something shocking happened in the Staples Center Tuesday night: after years of being No. 2, the underdog, the team everybody counted out, the upstart Lakers were led by Jordan Farmar, Xavier Henry, Jodie Meeks and other no-names to a win over the big bad Clippers, shifting the paradigm in LA. Wait, what?
And it all happened while an injured Kobe Bryant sat on the sideline, looking like he was at a funeral.
When Jordan Hill worked a pretty spin move to put the Lakers up 102-89 on the Clippers, Bryant let his emotions boil over and gave a raucous cheer for his teammates.
Oh, wait, he just kinda sat there looking bummed.
Cheer up Kobe! It's okay the team can win without you!
