The new SI cover asks the tough AJ McCarron questions

Wherein we talk about the Alabama quarterback without ever once using the words "ROLL TIDE." Aw, crap.

Sports Illustrated just tweeted out the cover of their new issue. And it poses an interesting question. Is it time to think about AJ McCarron as one of the best ever?

lol no

Wait, let me back up:

loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooollllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll

no

Yes, McCarron has a fantastic record. Maybe he's even had some HEISMAN MOMENTS (trademark and copyright hot sports takers). But it miiiiiiiiiight (MIGHT) be due a bit more to the Alabama juggernaut as a whole. I mean, NFL legend Jay Barker (ahem) was 35-2-1 as starter for the Tide. Not sayin', just sayin'.

But good for McCarron! He gets the cover, gets to eat in a nice diner. Has a nice jacket. He's doin' just fine for himself. Juuuuuuuuuuuuuust fine.
