Boyz II Men closes down Candlestick Park, as they should

Kelley L Cox-USA TODAY Sports

I JUST CAAAAAAN'T LEEEEETTTT GOOOOOOOOO

Candlestick Park is closing after a Monday Night Football win by the 49ers over the Falcons -- unless they host a playoff game -- which is a momentous event, causing San Franciscans to say goodbye to their dump.

And to properly say goodbye, they picked the world's best group of individuals to do the deed: Boyz II Men.

Here they are singing "It's So Hard To Say Goodbye:"

So, I saw this video, and thought one thing. Are they going to play "End of the Road"? They have to play "End of the Road," right? THEY HAVE TO PLAY END OF THE ROAD, RIGHT?!?!?!?!?!

Yes, they did:AND THOUGH WE COME

TO THE EEEEEEEEND OF THE ROOOOOOOAD

I JUST CAAAAAAN'T LEEEEEET GOOOOO

YOU BELONG TO ME (OOOOOOH) I BELONG TO YOUUUUUUUUUUUU

Still no word on whether Mariah Carey showed up to perform "One Sweet Day," which would have caused me to immediately leave my house, fly to California, and stand inside Candlestick Park to prevent them from knocking it down, even though I have literally no emotional attachment to it.

(Note: as you can see from the picture at the top of this photo, taken Sept. 8, 2013, this isn't even the first time Boyz II Men has been at Candlestick this year! Big Navorro Bowman fans.)
