The Colts' new backup quarterback hasn't claimed a uniform number since signing with the team last month. He's worn No. 8 since 2001, but Chandler Harnish currently claims that number in Indianapolis. So the two players decided to settle the matter in the most Indiana way possible: basketball.
Hasselbeck offered Harnish $8,000 and the rights to No. 8 if the second-year signal caller could sink a half-court shot.
Harnish is sending the money to charity.
