Report: Les Miles almost appeared in 'Ghost Shark' as the town's mayor

Chris Graythen

LSU's football coach is a man of many, many talents.

Ghost Shark is a Syfy movie that aired Thursday night. It's not about ghosts or sharks. I'm kidding. Here's what it's about:

During the broadcast, the COO of the movie's production company tweeted the following nugget:

NOLA.com, an actual newspaper outlet, has the actual report on Les Miles actually almost acting in Ghost Shark:

"He chuckled and said, ‘That sounds like a lot of fun. Tell me more about it,'" Lewis said. "I chatted with him and followed up on the phone two or three times. He was totally into it. He was pumped up.

It didn't happen, of course, but keep your eyes peeled for either Ghost Shark II or LSU Tiger Ghost Shark I (again via NOLA.com):

But the dream didn't die there. According to Lewis, Miles has said he'd be interested in working in another Active Entertainment production if the timing fit his schedule.

And for any of you who think Miles can't act:
