PHOTOS: UNC football unveiling argyle end zones

The Heels already use argyle in some of their uniforms, so why not in the end zones for the football home opener against Middle Tennessee?

For comparison, the argyle most commonly associated with North Carolina:

If Tennessee can do checkerboard end zones and Wyoming can do mountain ranges, why not old-man socks for the Tar Heels?
