The Yankees rookies dressed up like pop stars

New York Yankees

OPPA HAZING STYLE

Via ESPN New York, here's the evidence of this year's rookie hazing from the Yankees. The original story says Joba Chamblerain and other players "forced" the rookies to dress up like this, which sounds rather sinister, but the rookies seem to be taking it all in stride.

The breakdown:

Preston Claiborne (as Billy Ray Cyrus), Cesar Cabral (as Rick James), interpreter Jiwon Bang (as Psy), Brett Marshall (as Yoo Jae-Seok, one of the dancers in Psy's "Gangnam Style" video), David Adams (as Vanilla Ice) and J.R. Murphy (as Justin Bieber).

Really? Psy? We're still doing that? That's the most current artist the Yankees seem to be familiar with, which shouldn't really be surprising. Actually, this probably comprises a pretty solid cross-section of what the Yankees players actually listen to.

But I'm still going to pretend that "Justin Bieber" costume is a Macklemore costume.
