It was raining buckets in the Verizon Center. No, really, there were rain drops and buckets all over the court as the arena staff tried to stop the chaos one puddle at a time. Folks were on their hands and knees doing all they could to stop the liquid menace:
The Wizards are using this opportunity to get their players All-Star coverage, making the most of this mishap. Are we sure this wasn't an elaborate social media ploy to create some buzz and show off these fancy signs they've been waiting to unveil? You win, Washington. Rain Delay #NBABALLOT:
Meanwhile, Dwight Howard kept himself warm during the delay, getting in some extra reps in the low-post and showing the kind of aggressive moves that make him one of the NBA's best centers:
