Ray Allen and Spike Lee are seriously considering a He Got Game sequel

Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY Sports

2 Jesus 2 Shuttlesworth

Ray Allen and Spike Lee have actually discussed making a He Got Game sequel. For real:

"Sequels to most movies are always fluff and not as good as the first," Allen said Tuesday night before the Heat played the New Orleans Pelicans. "But it's something we've been talking about for the last couple months. If we get a really good story line and are able to bring everybody back, then it would be something worth doing."

Hmm ... a really good storyline ... Jesus Shuttlesworth is an aging former star like Allen himself? Or just do it again and this time Jesus himself is in jail for killing his wife but gets parole to convince his son ... Zeus Shuttlesworth to go to a particular college? In the first case, it'd be called He Still Got Game or He No Longer Got Game. In the second, He Also Got Game or He Got Game, Too, so we've got that covered.

I don't know. As long they get John Wallace, Travis Best, and Walter McCarty back in there somehow. Can't break up the old crew.
