Tim Byrdak had a hardy MLB career. The left-handed reliever managed to bounce around the MLB for parts of 12 seasons, even coming back to the bigs after a four-year gap where he dipped through an independent league. But now he's 40, and after shoulder surgery, he only managed to make it into eight games at the end of last season for the Mets. And in those games, he had a 7.71 ERA. It seems like the Byrdak, so to speak, has flown.
Suffice it to say, teams aren't calling for Tim Byrdak. So he's trying to drum up interest by himself:
Reports that Byrdak has also taken out an ad on Craigslist have not been confirmed, but he really should. It can't hurt!
We imagine he is driving his wife crazy, considering he's been tweeting images of himself playing pretend Winter Olympian around his house.

Where did he get that orange suit from, seriously?
Offers have been slow so I thought I'd practice for 2018. I should have followed IKEAs directions on the sled ! pic.twitter.com/7o1LwkLdaf— Tim Byrdak (@Givemethelefty) February 18, 2014
Best of luck to Byrdak.
